Classes start this Wednesday! If you would like to see the new location before first period begins at 10 AM, please come to the Whitney Avenue entrance by 9:40 AM for a tour of the new facility. We are looking forward to a great semester at PALS!
Hi Everyone! Parent job sign-up starts on Monday at 8 AM at https://www.homeschool-life.com/2602/class/?public=1&private= Sign-up for parent jobs is at the bottom of the class registration page, and is done the same way as you registered your kiddos for classes. Since we are a co-op it is super important that we all work together to make PALS the best possible experience for our kids! If you are at PALS for one period, you must sign up for 1 parent job; for two periods, you must sign up for 2 parents jobs; if you are at PALS for 3 or more periods, you must sign up for 3 jobs. We particularly need assistants in classes, so please consider whether you are able to help in that capacity. Remember, parent job sign-up is first-come, so if you have particular jobs that work best for your family please sign-up early. If you have not chosen your parent jobs by September 4th you will be placed where there is the most need. Thanks for helping to make this a great semester at PALS!
Thank you so much to all the families that came out today. I have to say PALS has some incredibly hard-working kids! Thank you to the grown-ups and kids for all the moving, cleaning, installing, assembling organizing, and sign hanging!
Reminder – we needs lots of help tomorrow setting up MAUMC! Please comment on Facebook post or email one of the board members to let us know you are coming. 8 am start at the North Shore storage facility. 9 am start at MAUMC. Even an hour or two will make the day go much faster. Children are welcome! Thanks to the families that have already volunteered to help!!!
Thanks to all those that showed up this past Wednesday to help us move in the furniture! This week we will need more hands, but for less physically strenuous work. Please help us finish moving and get MAUMC set up on Wednesday, Aug 22nd! The list below has location, time and an estimate of the number of people needed for each job. We are looking for many helping hands this Wednesday, Aug 15 as we move into MAUMC. The first load of furniture should arrive at MAUMC around 11/11:30. We will post a better estimate that day after the truck is loaded. After we unload the truck it will pick up all the storage cabinets at the UHAUL site on the Northside. We will need helping hands there too. The truck will then return to MAUMC to unload the cabinets at (very!) roughly 2 pm. Thankfully, the cabinets are on wheels and do not need to go up or down steps! Please come and bring your strong friends with you!
Please be aware our new registration system will not allow you to register a child for a class if they are not already at the minimum age requirement. Parents, please email the teacher for permission to place your child in that class. Teachers, please carefully monitor your email over the next two weeks.
